We are proud to welcome you to the Lisbon Business & Government School, an higher education executive and extension school that is far more that just another Executive Education School. LBS leads an international dinamic ecosystem, in close strategic alliance with Politécnico de Tomar - Polytechnic University [Portugal], to develop innovative, accredited, and globally oriented programs, to respond to the evolving challenges of a globalized economy. This framework is designed to support the development of forward-looking, high-impact higher education programs.

Established through a broad and diverse global academic network—including universities, business schools, international associations, and both private and public sector organizations across North and South America, the United Kingdom and Commonwealth, the European Union, and the Middle East—this international consortium is led by the LBS – Lisbon Business School Association, with the Politécnico de Tomar – Polytechnic University as its core academic and strategic institutional partner. This strategic alliance plays a foundational and structuring role in the development of our academic mission, ensuring the scientific credibility, institutional legitimacy, and national accreditation of its programs. Alongside this central partnership, LBS also benefits from collaboration with a wider network of internationally accredited universities, schools, innovation hubs, and research centers, which contribute to its dynamic governance model. Frequently asked questions

What can you offer that I cannot get at other schools?

With LBS you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the most notable professionals in different fields. We are intricately involved with education across Europe, U.K. and the U.S. Our students and alumni regularly participate in local, national and innational events, conferences and networks.

Do I need a previous degree or experience ?

There’s no need to have any prior knowledge for the majority of our short-term courses. For specializations, diplomas and Executive Masters there are some criteria and requirements depending on each program. We'll help you from the ground up you’ll gain all the knowledge and skills you need to achieve your goals.

How can I choose my courses?

We offer a number of different learning paths, which you are invited to read and choose the one that better meets your needs. However if you need any advice or clarifications, we are at your disposal at any time.

When can I start studying ?

You may enroll any day of the year. We provide several free short courses so that you can try out and experiment. Once you get started you can move forward through any of the paths available. Go online and start studying within a matter of seconds after enrolling.
